Points of Interest in Key West

  • When down this way, I stay at the Looe Key Reef Resort and Dive Center, a nice all-in one hotel, tiki bar, restaurant, dive center, and excursion center. Visit them at the US 1 mile marker 27½ on Ramrod Key.
  • If you like hot sauces, drive the thirty minutes into Key West and visit Michael Fatica's PEPPERS of Key West at 291 Front Street in the Clinton Square Market, call him at 305-295-9333, or fax him at 305-295-0553. Ask for the Sudden Death Sauce and have plenty of milk handy to wash it down with.

Will at Mallory Square
Sunset at Mallory Square is a daily tradition in Key West and attracts a lot of street performers. This is Will, one of our favorites from the past few years, a full-time fireman and part-time acrobat/juggler/comedian, showing his stuff against the rays of the setting sun.

Looe Key is the main reason we came down here. It's a designated marine sanctuary about thirty minutes north of Key West.
